  1. As the beneficiary of this dessert, I can attest to its yumminess and its beauty as depicted. Happy to be a location for an unoriginalmom photo shoot as long as I get to eat what’s pictured!

  2. Question, i made the crust following directions but mine was runny and i did not have to press into corners. It all muxed together when i put the filling in. It still tasted good but i cant figure out what i did wrong?? Any help from anyone?? Thank u

  3. My family discovered this recipe in the late ‘70s and we’ve been making it since then. We use evaporated milk and mix about 1/4 c walnuts in the topping. We also skip the vanilla. Otherwise this is the same tried and true recipe. I forgot the recipe at home so I hit the jackpot when I Googled it. Thanks!! And who cares about originality? Most things aren’t truly original anyway.

  4. I made this to take to work and they loved it! I added a little more brown sugar and cinnamon to the filling, because to me it wasn’t quite sweet enough. Will definitely make this again.

stay-at-home mom to three beautiful children, wife to an incredible husband, and daughter of a loving God. I freely admit that I am not always the most creative or original person when it comes to crafting, decorating, organizing, cooking, etc...but I love being inspired by great ideas and putting my own spin on them! Look around, stay a while, and I hope through my *unoriginality* I can provide some inspiration to you, too!
