  2. I’m stopping by from the Off the Hook linky party :) I love love everything – the tutu, the shirt & the 1st birthday board. My baby girl will be 1 on August 22nd and I’m working on birthday stuff (for her & her brother who will be 3) and I think I might need to make one of those boards :)

    • Hi, Samantha! Thanks for visiting :-) I was so happy with how the board turned out…I just had it printed and then used spray adhesive to put it on a foam board, and it looked great even without buying a big frame for it. Now I just have to figure out where I’m going to put it…it will be fun to look back on when she’s older! Happy *almost* Birthday to your little ones!

      • Is that the 20×30 sized foam board from Hobby Lobby? Where did you have it printed? Adorable! I am making my son’s in Photoshop and using yours as a guide! Thanks so much for sharing!

        • It’s actually a foam board from Target (I think 20×30) but my poster was 16×20, so I just used a utility knife to cut it to size. I had the poster printed at the local UPS store (about $16) and used spray adhesive to attach it to the foam board. So fun that you’re making one – I’d love to see it when it’s done! :-)

          • Thank you so much! I will have it printed there. I will definitely share it with you when I’m finished. His party isn’t until mid-October, but I’m starting on everything now! :)

  3. Wow! You did such an amazing job. Her board is just darling and so is the outfit. You will be featured tomorrow! Thanks for linking up to Tell Me Tuesday! Have great week. :) Tori

  5. Hello!
Love the chalkboard. Where did you get it done! Celebrating my Princess in a month and I would ADORE having one for her too !:)

    • Hi Christine! I actually made it myself in Photoshop after a LOT of trial & error…I know that there are several shops on Etsy that make them, or if you’re handy in Photoshop, there are lots of chalkboard tutorials out there on how to create the chalkboard look. Happy birthday to your little one! :-)

  6. Thanks for sharing your birthday ideas! I’m planning my little girl’s first for September and I love that birthday board done in photoshop… so much easier and less messy than real chalk!

stay-at-home mom to three beautiful children, wife to an incredible husband, and daughter of a loving God. I freely admit that I am not always the most creative or original person when it comes to crafting, decorating, organizing, cooking, etc...but I love being inspired by great ideas and putting my own spin on them! Look around, stay a while, and I hope through my *unoriginality* I can provide some inspiration to you, too!
