I’ve got a delicious, crowd-pleasing, and EASY party food idea for you – a yogurt parfait bar! I put one together as part of my little sister’s bridal shower brunch that I hosted two weeks ago, and it was a big hit. I am a big fan of the “bar” trend that people have been doing at parties lately as they tend to be super easy and really fun. In fact, I did a Mimosa Bar for this shower, too! More on that in another post ;-)

I love how simple it was to put together. Whenever I host parties, especially larger events like a bridal shower or baby shower, I like to keep my food options simple! (If you’ve read The Baby Shower Book, you know all about my tips for keeping party food simple!) The more I can prep ahead of time and/or delegate to other people, the better. This was the perfect thing, as all it required was chopping up some fruit.

Since it’s so customizable, everyone is sure to love it. Plus, it’s a great healthy option for any guests that might be watching their diet, especially if you have plain Greek yogurt on hand.

There’s really not much to it – yogurt, fruit, and toppings!

INGREDIENTS/SUPPLIES: (contains affiliate links – click here to read my full disclosure)
- Yogurt – I had plain greek and regular vanilla, but you could use whatever kinds you’d like
- Chopped fruit – I used strawberries, kiwi, raspberries, blueberries, and apples – you could also use peaches, pears, blackberries, or anything else that looks good/is on sale at the grocery store.
- Granola
- Other toppings – I had chopped dark chocolate, sliced almonds, and walnuts. Other ideas include honey, craisins, other types of nuts, different flavors of granola, etc
- Small clear cups and spoons (these square parfait cups paired with these appetizer spoons would be classy!)
- Serving dishes (here is a server similar to the one I used)

One quick tip – check the bulk bins in your grocery store for things like nuts, granola, chocolate, etc. I saved a good chunk of change on the almonds, walnuts, granola, and dark chocolate by buying a small amount from the bulk bins instead of buying them prepackaged in larger quantities than I needed.

And that’s really all there is to it! So easy, right? Perfect for any kind of brunch get-together, bridal shower, or baby shower!

UPDATE – I’ve added my parfait bar printable signs to my Etsy shop, both with ingredients listed and without! You can see the printables here!

Where did you get the dish that holds all the fruit?
Hi Marci, it was a wedding gift, but I think it was originally from Kohl’s. It is Food Network brand, if that helps!
Love this so much! Do you have the printable sign by any chance?
Thanks!
SO sorry it’s taken me so long to get around to this, but in case you are still looking for the printable sign you can find it here – https://www.etsy.com/listing/534374160/parfait-bar-sign-yogurt-parfait-bar

It looks like you have other food you were serving.. what else did you provide guests? Planning a baby shower brunch and love this idea!
I did other simple brunch finger foods…some mini quiche, bite sized cinnamon rolls, muffins, donut holes, etc. I also made some french toast macarons. Hope that helps! The parfait bar was a big crowd pleaser. I actually wrote a whole book on baby showers if you’re interested ;-) http://www.unoriginalmom.com/thebabyshowerbook
I love this idea so much, I posted a link to it on my own blog as a must try! Thanks for sharing this!

I 100% enjoy the idea of a yogurt parfait bar for a bridal shower brunch! It’s a fun and interactive way for guests to create their own delicious treat. I recently hosted a brunch with a similar setup, and it was a huge hit. The variety of toppings—like granola, fresh berries, and honey—was perfect. One thing that made it even more special was adding personalized touches, like custom cups and spoons. Another great idea is incorporating favor delivery , where you can send home little jars of homemade granola or other treats as thank-you gifts. It’s such a thoughtful touch!

A yogurt parfait bar? Genius! My kids would absolutely riot over that – turns a chore into a fun activity. Plus, it’s a healthier alternative to sugary desserts.
This parfait bar looks like a dream come true for anyone who loves options. I can already picture myself meticulously layering my perfect yogurt creation, probably with way too much granola.
Seriously, who knew a yogurt parfait could be so fancy and inspire such intense decision-making? My inner child is screaming for all the fruit toppings, while my adult self is trying to be sensible.
This is the kind of interactive food station that could easily turn a polite bridal shower into a competitive dessert-building championship. I’m already practicing my synchronized spoon technique.
This yogurt parfait bar looks absolutely delightful and the instructions seem so easy to follow. I’m already picturing myself attempting this for a weekend brunch, though my “artistic” layering might end up looking more like a delicious landslide.
The idea of a build-your-own parfait bar is pure genius for a bridal shower, it’s like a fun activity disguised as breakfast. I can already see my aunt going wild with the granola, creating a masterpiece that’s probably 80% crunch and 20% yogurt.
Seriously, who knew yogurt could look this fancy and celebratory? It’s proof that even simple ingredients can be elevated to bridal shower status with a little creativity.
This yogurt parfait bar looks like the most photogenic part of any bridal shower. I’m already planning my outfit to match the aesthetic.
My inner child is screaming with joy at the thought of this parfait bar. It’s like a build-your-own dessert fantasy come true.
Suddenly I’m rethinking all my life choices that didn’t involve a dedicated yogurt parfait station. Is it too late to add this to my own birthday plans?
This is the kind of bridal shower I wish I’d had, forget the awkward games and give me all the granola. Pretty sure a well-stocked yogurt bar is the secret to a long and happy marriage.
This yogurt parfait bar looks like a delicious way to start a bridal shower, almost too pretty to eat! I might need to practice my layering skills before the big day.
My personal parfait-building strategy usually involves a bit more chaotic scooping and a lot less artistic arrangement. This is definitely inspiration for a more sophisticated approach!
