    • Thanks Patti! I remember my mom getting jars like this as gifts from friends when we were little and I *loved* when she simmered them. They’re definitely a timeless crowd-pleaser of a gift!

    • Thanks Sara! Honestly, I have no idea, haha. I bought the bags I linked to in the post and still had plenty leftover of everything except the cinnamon sticks. I think I made about 18-20 jars.

    • Hi Kat, the download links are right next to each other – the first link is for the circle tags and the second is for the instruction tags.

    • I just eyeballed it! The star anise has a stronger smell so I only put a couple of those in each jar, but other than that I just divided things up based on how much I had and how many jars I was making…there’s no specific ratio :-) I also sometimes add a sprig or two of evergreen if we have leftover clippings from our Christmas tree…it helps to fill up the jar, smells good, and looks really pretty.

    • Yes, as long as you’re using dried oranges and cranberries you can make these well in advance! Otherwise, you can put everything else together and then just throw a fresh orange and fresh cranberries into the jar/bag when you’re ready to gift them.

stay-at-home mom to three beautiful children, wife to an incredible husband, and daughter of a loving God. I freely admit that I am not always the most creative or original person when it comes to crafting, decorating, organizing, cooking, etc...but I love being inspired by great ideas and putting my own spin on them! Look around, stay a while, and I hope through my *unoriginality* I can provide some inspiration to you, too!
