I’ve got a quick Pinterest review for you today!
I pinned this photo of a cake stand on the side of the sink a long time ago. It’s caption was: “Use a cake stand to hold soap and sponges, instead of leaving them on the edge of the sink.” Brilliant! Turns out, the source of the photo – Natalme – was actually showing off a recent kitchen remodel. But the idea is still genius!
We use a dish wand to do dishes, which tends to get especially gunky when it’s set down. It’s been great to keep it up on this cake stand (which I found on clearance at Home Goods!) and off the edge of the sink. The rest of our kitchen is really old and dated without any kind of a color scheme, so I just got the blue stand because I liked it…but someday (in the next house), I’m looking forward to actually decorating our kitchen! And then I can find a cake stand that’s a great accent to the rest of the room, like the source photo above. But in the meantime, this is a very functional solution to keep the edge of the sink a little bit neater!

Ha! I think that was one of my first pins and I’ve been looking for a clearanced cake stand or supplies to make my own ever since! I’m glad it works so well for you! I want a stand a little higher like the photo to give us more counter space in our tiny kitchen.
Thanks for the review!

It was one of my first pins, too! :-) I am still on the lookout for a taller cake stand, too…but we are *hopefully* moving soon, so I’ll probably hold off until I know what our new kitchen will look like! But this one is fine in the meantime (and was a price I couldn’t pass up!)
I’m pretty obsessed with Home Goods so I don’t doubt the price was fantastic! Isn’t that place the greatest?

This clever cake stand keeps the gunky dish wand off the counter, a temporary fix in an otherwise dated kitchen. The blue stand’s function over fashion reminds me of Moto X3M: simple, functional, and maybe not the flashiest, but incredibly effective at its core task. Future kitchen aspirations involve coordinated aesthetics. A neat sink now outweighs perfect decor.
So many hidden gems if you have the patience to dig! I’ve also been hunting for the perfect stand to help with counter space—tiny kitchens demand creativity!

The rampage animations are so well done for a browser game. Each level gives you more to destroy, and it becomes a little more chaotic every time. I keep coming back to see how much more damage I can do. Animal Rampage 3D Unblocked deserves way more hype!
I love your post, so great. Unblocked game is great too
