  1. I collected some acorns to decorate with, but the dogs ate them all! Yours look lovely and will probably last years. Glad I read the post – I did not know about the weevils.

  2. There are very elegant looking acorns and you are one seriously devoted crafter! After the worms, I would’ve been so creeped out, I would’ve given up! It paid off though, they look awesome, love the red! :)

    • Thanks Lauren! I was pretty impressed with how they turned out…I wasn’t sure what to expect! Thanks a bunch for sharing with your Facebook peeps :-)

    • Thanks Tori! The gold are my favorite too. I’m already trying to think of ways to use them through the Thanksgiving and Christmas season too :-)

  3. Wow, your acorns turned out gorgeous. However, the word worm, had me. I don’t like themat all, any kind. Long story that goes way back. Therefore, this is the first time I just can’t do this/a diy, though fabulous as they are.

stay-at-home mom to three beautiful children, wife to an incredible husband, and daughter of a loving God. I freely admit that I am not always the most creative or original person when it comes to crafting, decorating, organizing, cooking, etc...but I love being inspired by great ideas and putting my own spin on them! Look around, stay a while, and I hope through my *unoriginality* I can provide some inspiration to you, too!
